      Sales Development Representative

      Job Description

      A Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a salesperson-in-training. You’ll typically be the first point of contact in our sales cycle, helping our Account Executives identify and cultivate leads, and sell IdeaPaint solutions to many of the world’s most recognizable and respected brands. This in turn will transform the way these organizations work, collaborate and communicate driving better business results.

      After six to nine months, and upon successful and consistent achievement of monthly attainment of the key target metrics required, you will have the opportunity to be promoted to an Account Executive (AE) Team, where you will begin to nurture leads of your own, take a generous commission for the relationships your create, and earn any new business you close!

      Key Responsibilities

      • Have a complete technical understanding of IdeaPaint’s current and upcoming products and services offerings
      • Be able to effectively articulate the IdeaPaint concept via phone or email communication
      • Continually prospect for new customers through cold calling and other lead generation efforts as assigned
      • Develop a pipeline of quality business opportunities for the AE Team
      • Maintain accurate records of all Lead and Prospecting activities, including sales calls, appointments, and follow-up activity within the assigned territory using IdeaPaint’s CRM systems.
      • Be able to work in a cohesive, results-driven team structure
      • Be an IdeaPaint Ambassador in all aspects of the position
      • Be entrepreneurial in thinking and business management
      • Be passionate about sales with high energy and a willingness to learn
      • Demonstrate excellent organization, oral and written communication skills
      • Demonstrate proficiency in use of technology, MS Office applications, PowerPoint, CRM systems, e-mail and IdeaPaint internal systems

        Architectural and Design Representative

        Job Description

        As an Architectural and Design Representative at IdeaPaint, Inc., you will be responsible for building strong relationships with key decision makers to create and secure regional and national specifications for IdeaPaint products. You will manage a continuous pipeline of A&D specifications, work with our sales teams and distribution partners in creating greater awareness amongst architects and designers.

        Key Responsibilities

        • Generate, manage and close a continuous pipeline of A&D specifications.
        • Provide continuing customer education through product updates and presentations.
        • Prospect for both specified and unspecified projects to ensure a growing pipeline.
        • Track projects from specification through completion.
        • Maintain a high level of product and technical knowledge.
        • Be engaged and involved in the local A&D community.
        • Actively participate in industry associations & events.
        • Utilize Salesforce.com to track all A&D opportunities.
        • Maintain accurate and comprehensive account lists. Update daily activates and campaigns.
        • Demonstrate excellent organization, oral and written communication skills.
        • Demonstrate passion about sales, high energy and a willingness to learn.
        • Handle other tasks and responsibilities required by the role with agility and perseverance.
